COSEE-PP Summer 2011 Community College Faculty Institute in Oregon
When: August 1-5, 2011 Each day of the will include presentations by scientists who study the topic, curriculum materials (including lab exercises and field activities where appropriate) that could be used in a community college course, and time for participants to work on developing their own curriculum products using the information and materials presented. By the end of the week, each participant should have an action plan for the use of the material in their classes or in classes they are developing. The materials that the scientists present will be available to participants for use in the classroom. Housing will be provided and participants will receive a $500 stipend ($100/day).
