Ph.D. University of Connecticut; Education Coordinator for Connecticut Sea Grant and an Assistant Professor in Residence at UConn's Neag School of Education (research interests include authentic experiences in science for teachers and students and program evaluation / assessment); Chair of the Sea Grant Education Network and serves on the Board of Directors of both the National Marine Educators Association (NMEA) and the SouthEastern New England Marine Educators association; Vice Chair of the NMEA Ocean Literacy Committee; Member of the Governing Council of the New England Ocean Sciences Education Collaborative
